southwestern illinois | in southwestern illinois we are about the same however different management practices here results in different levels of motivation. i have a neighbor who had a bunch of wheat out and hasn't moved his planter. i have only one field of wheat so i planted 1.5" deep and increased the population (so this morning when i woke up planting is complete) and yes i have insurance and free replant seed. i have planted beans as late as july 20th with success. grandpa always said " well it won't grow in the bag" | |
