Even better than that, I believe that those E+ cables should have a Console plug on them that will plug right into the serial port on the back of the 450 to get individual sections to paint, and will even record rate information to shape files and create a field report that you can pull off via USB. I'm not so sure about the setup side on the E+ anymore, but on the 450 side you'll have to go into the data menu and make sure that baud is 9600, stop bits 1, parity none, and data logging on.
Well, there's a problem with that. My 450 doesn't have the serial port on its back side. Apparently it's an old controller and once upon a time they had a work around for it, but they discontinued that in the late 90's. |
