| Part of the problem is turning them in on the grid, I mean ya it’s great but the price is discovered by lesser cattle. It’s not solved until we have everything negotiated. Bid on the hoof, bid in the meat, bid plus grid. That solves it.
I wouldn’t sell a cow on the rail here. Too much competition on a slaughter cow. Capitalism is alive and well when it comes to slaughter cows here.
Only way we solve it is when every packer comes and bids for cattle. It’s simple but it’s not.
With that said I’m not pointing fingers last pen of fats I owned was grid and I’ve delivered cows to the packer.
