Wisconsin
I've done that with a torch, and it's a pain. A heater designed to do it is so much easier. Maybe hot sand? youtube agrees, but I'd bury the section to bend in hot sand also. the sand inside the pipe helps it hold it's shape. 2 or 3" grey electrical conduit bends fine, will fit pvc fittings, and won't need the sand inside. PVC sewer pipe, the thin stuff, will probably be a trick to bend, and won't fit the same fittings as regular PVC.
