Subject: Liquid or Dry Manganese Foliar

North Central In.
We are in an area that needs manganese, on beans and corn on black sandy soils, soil applied will not work very well, foliar is best way, the liquid which we use is Ready-man brand by core, it is only3.0% sulfur and 5.0% chelate manganese. they make a dry spray grade which is a much higher % manganese, which is suppose to be able to spray with round-up and other chemicals according to label, we use 17# ams to soften water and follow mixing instructions ,but still run into problems with plugging filter screens ,looks like soft butter inside filters, it does not do it all time, but when it does all you can do is stop and keep cleaning filters till tank is empty, we would rather use dry since it is a lot cheaper for % you get, the liquid works fine no plugging issues, but does not seems to green things up like dry. What are you guys using more of liquid or dry, it says to use 1 - 2 qts. per application and will have to apply it several times to correct the yellow color, shortage of manganese. Any suggestions or anyone else use this brand and have problem with plugging filters. Thanks
