NW IA | Personally I barely remember driving the H with no live PTO in front of a 14T with Dad or older brothers on the rack before the 450 came. Then I was on the rack behind a new 336 with Dad driving most of the time.
My older sisters got more time in with the H and their brothers "words of encouragement" before I was old enough to help. The trick, if I remember correctly, was to slightly bump the throttle forward to relieve the load and kick the shifter into neutral with your foot to avoid plugging the baler. "Poppin'" the clutch and dumping a brother on his butt and the stack out of kilter... unforgivable. | |
