What is the concern? It still being standing? Just leave it and do what you normally do. You will have less residue than usual. If you have chains on your planter you might have to shred them to avoid headaches but other than that just roll. We cut our irrigated sorghum 4ft + tall and the only down side is it rubs the paint off the bottom of the planter.
