Chebanse, IL.....

kagen

You are exactly right on your statement. We here have no idea nor can we really imagine the never-ending problems Denis & all Ukranians are experiencing. Yes we have catastrophes with destruction from weather phenominon, but it usually ends fairly quickly. Rebuilding in peace then becomes decisions that those affected have to make. But, the UE is ongoing. If a tornado tears down your farmstead, it's over within a few minutes and hopefully you're physically safe. But, over there they have the Russians blowing up their house and then pursuing them to attempt to kill them if they survived the missle attack. It doesn't seem to end. We can't fathom that. As someone pointed out, you may have insurance here in the US for total destruction from fire or weather, but to my knowledge, all property policies have a clause stating NO coverage in the event of attack or war.

Just imagine if you lived in IL & the Russians were in Ohio & headed your way. Plus, the corn still needs to be sprayed & the beans cultivated and kids need to play baseball games. That will all change in an instant & you'll develop different priorities. Keep in mind also, if you can't market your grain or commodities, how will you pay your bills?

So far, over here, no one is trying to kill us.

Denis, we all pull for you, your family & your country. Don't give up & it doesn't sound like you even consider that. Bravo.
