western iowa | I live in western Iowa between highways 59 and 71. Have an upcoming fishing trip planned to The Lake of the Woods near Baudette MN. Usually we head west to Interstate 29 and go north thru the Dakotas to Highway 11 and take that east into Minnesota. We make good time taking the Interstate but wonder about an alternate route with different scenery. Curious how Hwy 59 is up to Karlstad then east on 11 again. I see a highway 32 north of Thief River Falls to 11 also. Any thoughts on the roads in this area. Thanks. | |
