Subject: RE: Moisture sensors for irrigation timing

East Central Arkansas

We are furrow irrigation. I think more sets of them per field or in more fields would be better but they are expensive. All my fields are within a mile of each other and I am using a set in a corn field and one set in a soybean field. But even with fields being close to each other it's not uncommon to get different amounts of rain from one field to another or the irrigation for one field last longer than another one.
