Never used new, and only 2 3/8 and 2 7/8 tubing. For reference the lightest oilfield tubing I've seen is 2 3/8 at 4.7#/ft and 2 7/8 is 6.5#/ft. At .85/lb that would be $128 and $177 per 32' joint. 3 1/2" is the next size up, and the lightest is 7.7#/ft. The weights are for tubing used in the oilfield, what he's selling may be lighter weight.
