Farmington, Mo | All the rivers in the Ozarks are choked with it…it’s mixed in the profile and ends up in “bars” in the river channel. Some places, it’s so bad it restricts the flow…DNR here in Missouri does allow you to take gravel from creeks for your own use as long as you stay away from the main stem of the flowing water. Commercial pits require a permit.
We just use crushed limestone from the quarry…much more consistent for roads.
