Lots of gravel deposits along the Minnesota River and lessor amounts scattered around in our county. The County has designated "Mineral Overlay Districts" in our county zoning ordinance which restricts what can be built over these gravel deposits, which should allow for their future use as needed.
Do other areas have gravel deposits?
