Good idea to help cool them but once you turn them on they have to stay on for the remaining hot period. I think once you turn them off, the heat and humidity makes their body temps go way up. When we had the dairy we ran sprinklers 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off but they were inside the freestall so no direct sun.
