NW Ohio
We've been planting doing continuous corn/rye for around 8-9 years. Dragline manure on the corn to replace all the nutrients removed since we take the whole plant off twice a year. We recently starting adding some hog manure in the mix to help out. This works great for us, helps keep our nutrient levels at bay by taking two forage crops, gets some good/relatively cheap protein, and we don't need to purchase any commercial fertilizer using this approach.
