We got tired of playing Dish Network games so we ditched the service this spring. We have two flat screen TVs in the house and neither are smart TVs. The living room set is an older one that still has front facing speakers. That one got a Plain Jane ROKU. The office TV is slightly newer and has dinky rear facing speakers. With my hearing, I struggled to hear it clearly. I bought a ROKU Streambar (about $100) for it. Works well and is tightly integrated with the system so none of the usual hassles associated with some soundbars. 
For our needs, the streaming services are much better and so much cheaper than the old Dish.
