I had a block wall blow out during compaction so I stopped doing that. That was a huge, expensive mess. I just let it happen slowly. Gives the people time to better plan decks and landscaping. I also had one blow out during a rough backfill once. Heavy machine close to the wall. Block isn’t very strong
