RR Valley, ND; MN native | I saw someone out doing small squares yesterday. It was 101 here that afternoon (this was late morning but would have been high 90s). But, they were letting them fall out on the ground and no rack and kids stacking like I used to do back when. Baled in some hot weather for sure, not sure about 100 though. Stacking in the barn was worse and I always preferred riding/stacking on the rack as there was the chance of a breeze. You could get heat stroke, etc in the barn maw. Between loads, go over to the well and run cold water on your head to cool down. | |
