I bought a new trailer a couple years ago and I had the dealer balance the tires when he swapped them out to the 14 ply. It pulls nice. If they are out of balance it will carry through to the pickup.
If you have the brake controller set too high on an empty trailer and they slide and get flat spots, it kind of defeats the purpose though
