No, put pump and filter inside, leave it mostly full. You don't want the wind getting under a nearly empty one. :(
I should add it's hilarious when your boys decide to ice skate on it and can't get stopped at the end of the pool.
Wind will still get under one that is 3/4 full...the way the weather has been this spring, we are replacing ours. Came home one morning after a soccer game and the tarp looked like a hot air balloon, pulling the support posts out, and later on trashing the top rail once we got the tarp cut loose.
My kids are 5 and 7, wife is a teacher...ours gets used a LOT! We moved into my wife's parents place about 8 years ago, pool had been here. This was the first year that we have had this problem...but we decided to replace it to keep the little ones happy. Nearest public pool is 30+ miles away...
If we get another 10 years out of the setup, great. I don't use it much, but it's nice to have. Once everything's set for the year, it's not really that much work. |
