Ohio | We just had 3 days without power. Went off at 3:10 am just as it was starting it’s regen. Water was bypassing and the timer wasn’t advancing. Causing my well pump to run more than necessary. I switched the valve to bypass until we had power again. I kept hearing the generator lug running the well pump and couldn’t figure out what was leaking or using a bunch of water. Check your softener and switch to bypass if necessary when on generator power.
