SC Wisconsin | Wouldn't let it bother you too much, last year I had 2/3 of a farm planted to one variety and the other 1/3 to another. The 1/3 rolled when we were dry, but the 2/3 variety looked like absolute garbage. Rolled up tight and blue all day long. Never even got to look real great at night. Around tassel, we finally got some decent rains. I can't remember exactly what each variety did, but the one that looked worst beat the other by 10 bu in the one spot we checked with a weigh wagon. Whole farm went 212 at 15.5%. | |
