Subject: Dryland forage

Alma NE
I have 100 acres of broke out pasture that I drilled oats on in March. Cutting it for right now. It’s a so so crop because of the extremely dry spring.
I’m going to re drill it back to Sudan grass if it makes a crop I’ll hay it if not I’m at least hoping for a cover crop out of it . I’m trying to decide if I should add some cow peas into the drill also. What says you guys. Anyone ever done Sudan grass cow pea mix before for dry hay.
