sw ontario | When we got municpal water to farms my late neighbor said he was staying with his weel as all the water plant does is screen out the solids. Same guy would tell me he needed big septic weeping bed and we are spreading x million gals. of hog manure .We get our water downstream from Detroit/Windsor and heavy rains they bypass treatment plants. I know they treat it but wonder how they take out all factory waste,ect.?
Some areas have sand point in basement floor for water , it goes dry, flush toilet & u have water again. That area had lots of potato/tomato farms and blue babies from high nitrates. | |
