Not too many years ago, there would have been tryouts and only one team picked. There is no way to deal with this and be fair to everyone. Pick 2 equal teams and you have two watered down or mediocre teams. This isn't fair to the better players. Pick teams the way you describe and it's not fair to the less experienced players. There is no way to deal with this and make everyone happy. One way and the better players/ parents feel shorted the other way the less experienced players/ parents feel shorted. Patrick
