Sd | Wow this thread escalated quickly. My opinion is the only difference between hobby guys raising cattle and commercial guys is the government check crop farmers get because I would say the majority of posters on here row crop and have cows as a reason to feel like their actually “farmers” pp, subsidized crop insurance, free money for doing nothing… as a hobby “farmer” with only forty Waygu cows i have never received a dime from uncle sam and i feel good about that. Im not defending jims position just here stating facts. By the way buck don’t act like you setting aside acres for wildlife doesn’t get you a $110 an acre from game and fish. The only commodity i own with a name is kevin one of my bulls my 7 year old son named. Pour it on farmers | |
