So are you saying the SCALE of production, changing from 40 to 1000 cow dairies and changing from 50 beef in an Iowa farm lot with a lean-to shed (or 1800 head in Garvo's sheds) to 50,000 or 100,000 head in an open western feedlot changes the cattle from being LIVEstock to a being an "ECONOMIC COMMODITY" like #2 corn?

Nope it doesn’t change. It’s always an economic commodity unless your a hobby farmer.

I see your point of view. Only "hobby farmers" and obsolete 40 cow dairy farmers see our cattle as living creatures to be cared for as such.

You lose the argument when you make stuff up and put words in others mouth. 40 cow dairies aren’t hobby farms. They need to make money to live. Comfortable cows make them money so it’s in there best interest to keep them comfortable.

Your operation is much different than any beef operation out there
