Butterfield, MN | It probably isn't that, but it sure seemed like the math used for steering changed between versions, so even though you're putting the correct value in, it doesn't react the same. It seems like usually having the antenna as far forward on the roof of the cab and entering that value seems to make things work the best. Does it seem to hold the line pretty well once it reaches the line, or is it still lazy? If it's still lazy, you could probably get in and bump up the PWM Min values to make it react faster. Turning these values up too much will make the machine overly jerky when on the line. Another thing to check would be to make sure that the "FC" adjustment on the SmarTrax valve block is backed out as far as it will go, there should be about 10 threads showing past the jam nut. If it's turned in further than that, loosen up the jam nut, back it out until it hits the back stop and tighten the jam nut back up. Then run through the calibration again, that could certainly help. | |
