Fruita CO | Yeah, I had one other nest that was closer to the shop door than I wanted. Poured some gas down the hole & lit it, that seemed to fix them...
I had an engine on a stand close to the ant pile. A young farmer came to BS, & was standing right on the ant pile looking at the engine...he didn't stand there long... :)
I've seen dry pastures with a bunch of bare spots from ants. Irrigation keeps them out of the fields here...
