So would you break up a 2000 acre family farm corp? What acreage limit so you put on ownership?

Not the road we want to go down.

Corporations that are sole farmers and are American owned is different from a mining company, bill gates or Smithfield. It’s simple, if your revenue from farming isn’t your primary source of income and asset holding on your tax firm than you aren’t a farmer. That would clear up quite a bit of things.

Your idea is too simple.
Maybe it should be that if a person doesn't do the work himself, he isn't a farmer. How's that? Of course the farmers that are incorporated and have hired help might not agree.
Who is the "czar" ( a terrible term that has been resurrected in politics) that gets to determine who is worthy of farming?

I don't like the idea of Gates, Smithfield, or any other conglomerate like those gobbling up land, either, and would also be in favor of limited foreign ownership, from a national security standpoint.
But when you start making rules that only benefit yourself and your own philosophy, you've just joined the club.
