I challenge you to walk into a store in ANY decent size town and ask some people buying beef if they've ever heard of BQA. Or anything else from any of our associations about how we keep our animals cared for and safe for the consumer. They MIGHT tell you they've seen a commercial pushing Angus beef from Arby's or something...
BQA is a BS scam thats realisticly worth less than the paper the stupid cert gets printed on. If a cattle producer gives a crap about their animals and their product, then they're already doing the right things. If they don't, no amount of voluntary online or short afternoon/evening dinner presentation is making a difference.
I have gone to a few BQA meetings-I'm amazed some of the things I did not know and picked up a few helpful tips-I guess if I have to be there ,I'm going to try to learn something |
