#1, you need to get a reloader. A progressive loader isn't all that terribly expensive and then with the right wads you can load them anyway you want to. #2 I know you want to use your gun but a trap gun has a straighter stock than field guns and when you hold it right, it doesn't kick much at all. When I started shooting my shoulder would hurt and it'd kick me in the face enough to rub a sore spot. I finally learned how to hold it right with the butt right in the pocket that forms when you cock your arm straight out at a 90 to your body and then you can just tilt your head forward and not lean it over to sight the gun. Makes all the difference in the world. I can shoot a lot of targets and never bother me (I used to, LOL, I haven't shot for a few years now) If you really don't want to get a different gun, just pick up a reloader and load light shells. You may already hold the gun right but if not, try it and see if it helps. |
