With glyphosate water is your enemy, Even higher rates of carrier can hurt performance. It is optimum to spray during the day, but you can spray all night as long as there is no dew. Once dew sets in it is best to shut down. With other herbicides, especially the ones that work best with higher rates of water, dew can actually help performance. Glyphosate is one of the few exceptions. Unlike many other chemicals, glyphosate works best when the spray droplets have a high concentration of glyphosate in them. When it gets diluted performance drops way off.
