I work at a Tool and Die shop. Around 35 hourly employees(good not great benefits). 7 presses from 100 ton down to 300. 5 very large machining centers(CNC), 12 or so medium sized. Couple that with many more multiple large grinders prototrak(think bridgeport) mills, lathes, EDM's and so on. Just millions of dollars worth of equipment, that uses lots, and lots of juice for 2 shifts a day.

Our shop rate on time and materials jobs - $65. Just raised it from $60 about a year ago.


But , they're not selling and fixing farm equipment.
Everyone know, that farmers are a pushover.
Isn't there a sign at these places at the front door saying, as you enter drop your pants and bend over and get ready...
