A local shop is about $115 an "hour". Though their "hour" is not standard 60 minutes. Had a repair there that I didn't have tool for so I took it there and went and got some parts while repaired. Asked the mechanic how much time it was. He was at his computer inputting data. "18 minutes" he said. Get the bill end of month and billed at 0.5 hours. I didn't complain for the convenience I received but I have watched closer on other repairs and an extra 40% to actual time is common there. Billable hours versus time hours for repair at hand.
An hour is not an hour evidently. Not educated in common core maths so I might be adding wrong.
You should have been happy they never charged you a one hour minimum. |
