Croswell, Michigan | Freight seems to be a racket to me. I have used R+L quite a bit in the past but only because I have an account with them. Simply having an account saves you about 50% versus being a one time shipper. But same as you they wanted to charge us the residential fee, we could load them as fast as they could open the back door but it never made any difference. My limited experience with Saia Is that they are one of the most incompetently run companies ever. I was on the receiving end of that shipment, but I would never use them after the BS I went through.
