Can't prove it with facts, but I think we all know who stands the loss, the producer ! Western feedlots don't provide shade we have next to no humidity, so when you get heat events like the last two years you are in what would be argued in court as acts of God. We cant introduce water over their back or you will kill them right quick, cant move them --- hard in a large feedlot to change feed hours to reduce heat but some try, just a bad deal like a blizzard ---- sucks to be on hind tit.


How many years before “acts of God” become “normal weather?”
