SE Iowa | I was out of the state on vacation most of week 5. Had 1.8” of rain during this time while getting 0.0” of rain in week 6 with high temps the last few days in the upper 90s. Starting to see some flowering start on a few plants. This was 5/2 plant date. Weeds are a little out of hand and will be sprayed early tomorrow. Will be a full rate of Enlist One, cleth, powermax, some crop oil and adjuvant. Main concerns at this time are weed pressure specifically velvet leaf, water hemp, and giant rag weed. Treflan by itself clearly is not enough as a pre so any thoughts on a different program would be appreciated. Heat week is in the upper 90s and a few days of 100 with no rain. Not a concern yet especially for beans on deep soil but something to monitor going forward.
