What would be the downside to baling in large rounds? If it's steep enough you don't want to keep bales on a rack I'd think in my opinion there's no way I'd row crop it. Square bale as much as your gumption allows and round bale the reat. Plus you're only adding one piece of equipment instead of a whole line.
