If the batteries are bad you can kiss $1000.00 away to replace them and then they must be recharged after a big day of use.
The gas cart will run a week (or two) on a full tank of gas!

My father had Parkinson's and we got a gas powered golf cart for him to work around the dairy. It was always a pita. Bought a beat up electric one and it ran every day for 7 years on the same set a batteries that was in it when we got it. Just bought another one for the women to use around the yard as they kept killing the gas powered side by side with all the short usage. About a set of new batteries for it for $670.
