As others have said, think it needs time and water. I completely cover my patch with cow compost that I get from Menards every fall after the frost kills it for the year. Normally I put 2 or three bags on each year. I have done this every year since I transplanted it nearly 13 years ago. It has a mound about 6-8 inches above the rest of the area that it is in. Produces very well.
