Beyond that, if one of my son-in-laws treated one of my daughters like that, I doubt that he would have a chance to apologize. Likely have called a divorce attorney by the next day. We raised them to NOT put up with that kind of nonsense.
On the other hand, they lively wouldn't have spent 4 hours shopping on the way back from the butcher.
