I have a couple that the paste doesn't work on every year. Same as you, I feed them out for freezer beef.
Manual chute or automatic?
Automatic is a little more problematic but doable.
Just can't rush them. They'll tip their head and fit through.
I would recommend at least cutting the tip(2-3") off to prevent bruising to the other carcasses. In a feeding situation, they learn to use them to keep others away at the bunk. Sawsall will do the trick.
