coast of Maine | Direct sales will pay the way as you see.The rental savings will go towards property tax so thats a wash.The cost is low compared to here.I liken the land I buy as forced(you will pay or lose) building of equity.Did the same as you,,no one cropped veg/fruit in my family.My dad gave me a lot of knowledge from his (I worked with him til 20)endeavors though.All my land purchases were always a holly crap can I afford it moment.Always did.I can see many just saying how the heck does he do it?How ? start and it snow balls from one piece to another.First was 12,000$ lot,40 years later with vacation home I built by myself close to 700K$,,but that 12 K$ was some hard to get paid in the 80 's.Now the problem is taxes on that land,,so,,,sell Im not sure..same a year for property tax as I paid for place in 1982.Buy if you and wife are both on board. | |
