Yes, they will eat it up, and make the milk flavored.

In the 1920's my grandfather had a contract with a local mental hospital to supply some of the fluid milk for the patients.  They got to complaining about the milk tasting bad, and it was garlic in the pastures.  So my grandfather had to buy a whole different farm to keep things smooth with the hospital contract.  Of course the land he had before is now in town and is worth far more than what he moved to.........
