Wyoming

Meth is a horrible drug. As one former meth user told me: "It puts worms in your ears!" He was referring to the auditory hallucinations he suffered while on meth.

The technical term used by medical professionals is "methamphetamine psychosis." This can manifest as "hearing things," bizarre thought processes, paranoia, delusions, etc.

There is no way you can deal with this by yourself. There's no "talking down" a meth abuser once psychosis sets in. It requires medical treatment, and... the medical treatment isn't always successful. Unlike treatment programs for alcoholism and opioid dependence, there are no pharmaceutical options to prevent someone from using meth again. It comes down to only being able to assist them in calming their brain down, and then behavioral therapy.

I don't have any advice for what you should do. All I can tell you is what a challenge you're up against, and that I think you're going to need help.
