Wisconsin | Adverse possession is state law, so you'll need to check your statutes. I don't believe adverse possession is allowed against the govt. Then there's the time limit, which is 15 years here, the fence put in complicates that, because it confuses if the cattle grazed the land before, or just since.
On the other hand, collecting crp on the land is a decent claim of having used it, and the govt acknowledging that. Don't know how that happened? | |
