I was surprised however to learn E-85 is at least 70% ethanol. Wonder why they failed to call it E-70?
It can be 85% ethanol, hence the name, but is allowed to be down to 70%. It is blended differently in the winter months and that may also allow for any event of an ethanol shortage without having to call it something else.
Some stations carry it here, some don't. Some price it almost the same as the other stuff, are a few that sell it for cheaper now. |
