The big thing here now is a "celebration of life" instead of a traditional funeral. A chiro friend of my wife's died a while back at 52. He also was my cousin's childhood friend...they had a celebration at a local bar/music venue with a live band, (my cousin's), drinks, taco bar, picture slide show, & tributes by his family & friends...much better sendoff than a funeral, for that guy especially...
