south central WI | This may sound cold hearted, but that's just the way it goes. In low crop price years they make farms with owned land less profitable. In high priced grain years, farms with owned land are more profitable. It sucks, but it takes times like these to find your weak spots. They need more grain storage. Relying on that many semis every week to bring corn saves on storage costs, but in a weird year like now it can bite you. | |
